On June 11, 2010 at approximately 8:13 A.M., West Shore RCMP responded to a call of an industrial incident in the 1000 block of Goldstream Avenue Langford, British Columbia.

Upon arrival it was discovered that a 34-year-old Victoria resident had been struck and partially run over by a cement mixing truck while working on site.

Emergency service personnel, including Langford Fire Rescue and British Columbia Ambulance Service, attended the scene and the man was rushed to Victoria General Hospital where he was treated for serious injuries. The man is currently listed in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing and will be completed by Work Safe British Columbia.
